About Course
After watching the recording, please take the learner assessment and survey HERE.
Enteral nutrition plays a critical role in supporting pediatric patients who cannot meet their nutritional needs through oral intake alone. This webinar aims to provide Registered Dietitians with the knowledge and practical skills needed to manage the various transitions in enteral nutrition for pediatric patients. By enhancing their understanding of safety and appropriateness, equipping them with practical strategies for different transitions, and supporting the shift back to oral intake, RDs will be better prepared to deliver comprehensive and effective nutritional care.
Join Haley Riggs, MS, RD, CSP, CNSC, LD as she walks us through a patient’s entire journey from a newly placed g-tube back to oral eating including practical tips for adjusting to home enteral therapy, transitioning from a continuous pump to bolus feed, and learning to incorporate whole foods into a daily regimen.
